Top Law Schools

Wasn't sure where else to ask this.

I know most NU students have at least one year of WE prior to enrolling. I'm taking a year off in between UG and LS. So what does it mean if I won't have one year of WE by the time I APPLY to NU, but I'll have one year by the time I enroll. Does that count, so to speak?

NU counts work experience at matriculation (they seem to assume that your current job will continue up through the summer prior to when law school starts). That being said while 1 year is very beneficial, people with that amount of work experience are still a small minority of the class. Their class is something like this:

5% - 0 years work experience
15% - 1 year work experience
80% - 2+ years work experience
