How are 1Ls spending their winter break? Do you go home, work, play, or spend it all trying to get a head-start on the spring semester?

you do nothing school related over winter break except maybe write some cover letters/work on resume.

You try to forget first semester (and yeah, maybe do some mass mailings).

Go do stuff you don't get to do during the semester. I slept, watched tv, and played video games. Nothing law school related was accomplished during my break, which I don't regret one bit.

I didn't begin putting together a resume and cover letters until school started. I felt sort of behind the game but not too much. It made the beginning of the semester a lot busier than it should've been, but it had no affect on hiring/employment opportunities.

We are spending it with a coat on. Except when we are inside, then we might take it off.

Drink, watch movies, pick up chicks, spend time with family, eat turkey.
