I ask this because my resume that I sent to my LOR writers mentions my "unofficial" LSDAS GPA based on a GPA calculator. I just graduated and my school takes about 10 years to finalize transcripts, so I haven't sent mine in to LSAC yet and don't know exactly what the official GPA may be. It may be off by about .01 or so, which obviously isn't much, but I don't want even slight discrepancies.
So even though I have a good GPA, I asked my writers not to mention it in the letter, so that it doesn't conflict with whatever LSAC determines it to be.
There's no reason why they'd need to mention it anyway, right? Because law schools will get the transcript and GPA anyway.

Yeah, no reason for them to mention GPA. They should be talking about your qualities as a person and student; stuff the adcomms can't get from a resume and transcript.
