No, your undergrad won't affect biglaw or clerkship prospectives after attending HYS. It will depend on law school grades.HYPSM wrote:What are the chance of making BIGLAW/Clerkships for a person who went to Harvard Extension for undergrad (which has a considerable stigma) but went to Yale or Harvard Law (or even T6 or T14)?
Somewhat of an extreme/stupid question, I know; but I ask because I was just discussing this with a friend going to a "lesser" program at an Ivy, but has great aspirations of making it to Biglaw/Clerkship after YHS.
Doesn't matter? Matters a bit? Matters a lot? Hopeless?
In what case does it matter, and in what case does it not?
I think the underlying concept/theme of this question is, obviously, how much of an effect one's undergrad degree has on his/her success in the legal field.
Tell me what you think.
