Law School Prep / Preview offered by schools - worth it?

I am going to be attending DU next fall and they offer a "Law School Preparation: Summer Preview 2011" week of classes. I would assume that some other schools might do this too.
Here is the link: http://law.du.edu/documents/aap/Summer- ... -Flyer.pdf
The first list of topics seems good, "Basics for first year of law school"
Then after that it looks more dubious, "success in the classroom" / "academic skills." I mean, I've already been to college before.
But I have been out of school for a year and going to a T2 school I feel it is important to do very well, so if this would give me an advantage I wouldn't mind paying for it.
How many of you guys have had experiences with a program similar to this, and do you feel it is worth the $500 / 35 hours? Would anyone mind sharing their experiences? I will be working up until school so the way I see it I would not only be paying $500, but sacrificing a whole week's paycheck....
Thanks for your input!
