Peace corps, TFA, teach English in another country, tutor for the SAT / LSAT, ??? what exactly are you looking for?

Youre not going to get into TFA this late, however you prolly still have some time for peace/americorps. If that fails you could alway wait tables or some shit

ask your professors if they need research assistant/TA,
ask your high school principal or pull some strings thru local schools if you could be a sub. teacher
go on low budget traveling,
find any entry level job

Paralegal (In some states... others require a degree), legal secretary, filing clerk, working for a government agency of any kind in any white collar related position. Or go out of the country for a job as suggested.

In 6 months your loans will be due. It would help to have a paying job.

It sounds like you aren't optimistic about finding a relevant job. If you can't find a substantiative job find one that will at least let you get by, and do some volunteering.

True. 27 month commitment. On the other hand most schools will totes give you a one year deferral for that, just like TFA. Up to the OP really. My cousin who did Peace Corps said it changed her life and gave her a whole new direction.

Is money an issue/are you interested in PI? If so (or even if not), there are tons of nonprofits everywhere that can always use free labor. The work is often interesting (better than entry-level crap a lot of the time, thought without the significant perk of money) and it can be really satisfying. If you're into that. Or try to get a job. but that's just...way harder.

This. Also try: valet, golf pro/caddy, construction, pretty much anything that gets you outside, physically active and is relatively stress free. Law school encompasses none of those qualities.

I worked for a renewable energy non-profit and enjoyed it. Just do something that you are interested in and enjoy your time off school. It doesn't necessarily have to be a legal job. Travel, spend time with friends/family, enjoy NOT studying! I took a few months off, vacationed, and just relaxed (I had some money saved up), then I found a job that I'll have for ~8 months. What about working for the state rep./congressman in your area? or you probably have some local chapters in your area.. you could work for a PAC?

Have you taken the LSAT yet? If not I'd just get a bullshit job and spend the rest of my time studying.

If you are already good to go on all of your LS stuff, I'd say find any legal related job you can do (even if it is something unpaid a day or 2 a week) just to build your resume.

Mostly I'd take it easy since after this year your life turns to shit for a while.
