I feel you. It is BS, but I think it shows the level the school cares about you in relation to its other applicants to keep you waiting so long. I just play waitlists as situations that would be great if they happen, but pretend they are not going to happen. I agree it is unfair when schools review your file past April 1 without so much as waitlisting you, but at least it does show their sentiment - they care about your pocket book substantially less than you care about their prestige.Neve wrote:How is it possible that the Law School Admission Council allows law schools to wait until May 1st before making a decision on an applicant? I emailed one of the law schools that I applied to that still hasn't responded (not even the waitlist), and their response was that they had until May 1st to make a decision about my application. Now I've decided where I want to go to law school, but it bugs me that LSAC allows law schools to do this.
