One year at a University after JC transfer enough?

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum so I had a question for you guys.

I just recently transfered to University of California-Irvine and my question is since I will be applying to law schools next fall will one year of university grades be enough to impress law schools?

I'm concerned only one year of grades at a University (the rest being at a JC) will hamper my chances at a T1 law school even though my grades are sufficient.

Thanks!

All they care about is that you have a bachelor's degree when you matriculate.

Does it work the same as transferring to a University i.e. you send in your updated grades for consideration after you've applied?

You can. You don't have to.

Some UGs require you to take a certain number of credits or be enrolled a certain amount of time to earn a Bachelors degree from them. (Otherwise, people would save money by taking all but the last little bit of a degree program at a CC and transferring to a university for one term/one class.) Is UCI going to give you a diploma with only 1 year of enrollment?

All of your grades will be on your applications, including your JC grades.

I have 2 quarters left this year, and then all of next year before I graduate.

But I will be applying for law school next fall so they'll only be able to see 1 year's worth of grades from UCI unless I send them my grades when they come back to me.
