Any Michigan State Undergrads out there?

Post by Aqualibrium » Fri Dec 17, 2010 11:38 pm

I have a friend who goes to undergrad at MSU and is considering law school. From what I understand, you guys have this wonky grading system that assign point values, not letter grades. So your grading scale looks like this:

4.0 3.5 3.0 2.5 2.0

My question is, what did that mean for your LSAC gpa? If you got a bunch of 3.5's did lsac count them as A-'s which would help your gpa, or a B+'s which would hurt your gpa (cuz on a normal scale, an A- is worth 3.67, a B+ is worth 3.33)?

Any help would be appreciated!

They counted 3.5's as 3.5's and 4.0's as 4.0's. My lsac gpa was only .01 off my ugpa.

Your avatar is mildly awesome, though I'm not from the UP.
