A Cappella question

So call me lame, or whatever, but I've always either been in a band or an a cappella group, pretty much as long as I can remember--anyway I would love to sing in a group in law school.

Does anyone know of any other law schools that have a cappella groups besides Harvard and Michigan? (not interested in traditionally undergrad group, only law school groups)

Why not start one where you end up?

First, in before a lame Andy Bernard Cornell joke.

Second, http://blogs.wsj.com/law/2007/01/11/law ... la-groups/

took me ten seconds on Google to find.

Been there, done that.

1. It's a bitch to start a new a cappella group and it takes a lot more work than most people think (if people actually think about that at all, lol)

2. If you start a group, you normally suck at first. Even if you have talented people, you need a talented music director and even if you get a talented music director it takes a while to form a "sound".

3. Starting a group takes time and money, something I don't expect to have much of during my 1L. It's a lot easier just to join one.

you could go to Yale and be a whippenpoof.. then get eliminated from "the sing-off" after claiming you created a cappella?

NYU Law has a group called Substantial Performance. They have videos on YouTube, but the videos don't do them justice. This fall they had a concert and it was definitely entertaining. I'm going to audition next semester.

OH GOD... I'm going to regret this... but here you go... chose the most embarassing / homoerotic one so we could just get it over with... watch the whole thing

If you're going to embarrass yourself might as well go big or go home....

A Cappella groups usually suck. Join a choir. Less posing and suckage usually.

William & Mary has quite a few groups. They mention it on the university website.

Edit: Just noticed you're looking for law school groups. Not sure on that one.
