misconduct/irregularities

hey-anyone know anything abuot misconduct or irregularities given on the exam. I got one that because i didn't close my book on time, but my pencil was down and everything, but my proctor still wrote me up. Does anyone know if there's anything i can do about it or has anyone heard about someone who got this in the past? Please if you know anything, respond. Thanks
