Splitters in law school

Post by 2011Law » Sat Nov 27, 2010 10:20 pm

I'm just wondering (since I'll be one soon enough) how classic splitters do in law school as compared to people who are closer to both medians or reverse splitters.

Splitters are just people who got LUCKY on the LSAT, essentially idiots. I'm sure they do horrible in law school.

this. which would you trust to predict law school success, an aptitude test or the fine teaching assistants at Western Illinois University?

This.

I was a 2.8/ 176

I'm lost in every class and I don't understand what's going on. I'm gunning for just above bottom third so I have a fighting chance at a job.

The people who think you can get a low GPA in UG and then do well in law school are freaking delusional. The LSAT is pretty worthless. Every splitter I know here, including myself, is struggling like crazy.

A reverse splitter made me cry after ripping apart my cold call.

There's also the weird social dynamic. I suggest trying to hide that your a splitter (though it's pretty much impossible, it will get out) this because no normal students will want to hang out with you. They think you don't deserve to be there, and that they lost their spot at a higher school because of some other douchebag splitter.

So basically all the splitters have to hang out together, which sucks. Try planning get together's with your unreliable waste of air splitter friends, it's a complete nightmare. It falls through every time.

I honestly can't wait to gtfo out of here.

It's one of those things that just comes out. I mean maybe some can hide it, but I've never seen it done here.

For me it was the third day of contracts.

Being a splitter is a seriously bad idea... if you have a low GPA, retake the LSAT and aim for a lower score so that you can avoid being a splitter. Target TTT schools and just try to be a mediocre student all around.

It is better than being a splitter.

this threads funny. In all honesty i think it depends on where you go to school and how much higher your lsat is than median. At some point you just have more intellectual horsepower than most of your peers. However, no amount of brains will make up for a lack of good study skills, though that can be learned easily

lighten up. sooner or later someone points out the fact that they're joking. Their responses were too stupid to be true. These guys spend a lot of time trying to be funny and failing miserably. Every now and then they actual do manage to make me laugh and you are all pissed for no reason. relax.

Sometimes, almost all the time when dealing with DF and H2O, mockery = messing with someone.

Ask a dumb question. Get a dumb answer.

I don't think it's an unreasonably dumb question.

I didn't think the question was that dumb. At least, it wasn't dumb enough for those types of answers.

Oh man you should have been here for the drug test thread where I was this close to getting a guy to shave his head.
