Top Law Schools

Hi was wondering if there was any way to obtain an American JD while studying in Europe? Is that even a possibility. Or perhaps are there any schools that offer dual-degrees and allow you to study in a foreign country?

I did that for a year for my undergrad and took courses in Spain. I loved it there and I was able to obtain my bachelors in time. Is there any such way to do this for law school. Especially because I really want to do international law so i would love to do a study abroad for my law school.

A bunch of viewbooks I've gotten have mentioned optional years abroad. London is popular, but I've also seen France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Israel (just off the top of my head).

Someone else can probably answer this more definitively than I can, but I think terms abroad are kind of considered a joke in law school, and basically a waste of your money. You're out of college, take a year off and teach English or something. Especially with the way the legal market is now, there's no reason to rush. Spain in particular has a great program where you teach in a public school and get a nice stipend and a visa along with it. Take your year abroad before law school instead of trying to cram it in.

Almost every law school has some sort of study abroad program, though some of them are during the summer and interfere with your ability to get a job and would seriously impede your OCI results.
