What schools give it to you after your first year?

It has nothing to do with the school, it depends on the state and how easily they are willing to consider you a resident. After all they are the ones that will be footing a chunk of the bill if you become in-state.jasonc. wrote:What schools give it to you after your first year?
It's not really like that. In Oregon you can become a resident after your first year (for voting, tax purposes), but to qualify for in-state tuition, you have to have lived there for a certain period of time for non-educational purposes prior to starting school.
