Columbia has consistently said that ED does not give any person a boost.

So if you trust that, then there's really no reason to ED save for the opportunity to check out vastly over priced housing options a month early. Plus, you loose that whole scholarship consideration.

Is Columbia your dream school? If yes, check the box.

Otherwise, I'd wait and see what other offers wind up in your mailbox and the money attached.
