Concurrent Degrees and Joint Degrees

What exactly is the difference between a concurrent degree and a joint degree (mentioned on the Harvard Law School's website--as well as other Law School websites). <http://www.law.harvard.edu/academics/de ... index.html>
I get the feeling that concurrent degrees are one you design for yourself with approval from schools, and joint degrees are pre-structured for students who want to pursue studies in two different fields.
Does anyone know? Please help!
Thank you.
