Barely read your post, but short answer, internships play almost no role in law school admissions, and with your GPA you can get into anywhere with the appropriate LSAT score. Therefore, you don't need the WE to help you into a better law schoo.

internships play almost no role... wow, i guess i wasn't informed properly.
but if you look at it in the long run, wouldn't you say a little bit of WE with the taste of the society help you out once you graduate from law school and say, go into a private law firm?

perhaps, but a few more points on the LSAT (say, 167 v. 171) will give you much better chances on getting in a T14 law school, which will help much much more in getting the job that you want.

Unless you've cured cancer or won a Nobel prize or something, your soft factors (work experience etc.) won't count for much in the application process. Concentrate on getting the best LSAT that you can get, and getting your GPA up as high as you can. If you do decide to work before going to law school, it should be for other, more legitimate reasons.

I would think his required korean air force duty would be more then enough. 3.7-3.8 is a fine gpa, just ace the LSAT.

You list a bunch of softs, but none of it is impressive enough to make a difference in admissions. Your cycle will come down to your LSAT score (a 3.7 is a good GPA).

You have a job lined up so I would say get the work experience. There's a lot of uncertainty with regard to the legal market right now so if you have the chance to work at a decent job for a few years, I'd take it and see which direction the economy goes.
