Is there any significant difference in getting, say, a 4th edition E&E or hornbook, versus the newest 6th edition?

I'd blast you for not using the search function, but since it is still down I will answer (to the best of my knowledge).
For civil procedure and constitutional law, you would do good to purchase the latest editions. The more static courses, like torts, property, contracts, and perhaps criminal law, you can probably get away with purchasing older editions. This is just what I have heard, however, so I would still wait to do a bit of searching on here once the function is working again to see what others say.
