Top Law Schools

I'm going to be going to school at night while working full time in the day, so i'm trying to figure out how to capture some of the "lost" hours in my day.

I currently spend about 75 minutes driving each way to and from work. I'll be going to school near where I work (about a 15 minute drive) so once I start school I'll still have essentially the same commute: 75 minutes from home to work. 15 from work to school. 75 back home.

So... how can I make use of my 2.5 hours a day in the car?

I bought LEWS and plan to listen to that during my first semester... but that only fills a week.

I've considered recording my classes (assuming I can get permission from my profs) and replaying them in the car. Normally I think recording class probably wouldn't be worthwhile (after all, when would you listen to it?) but since I'm trapped in my tin can for two and a half hours a day, it might be better than nothing.

Any suggestions?

Moving isn't an option.

Listen to public radio (or public radio podcasts), it doesn't hurt to know what's going on outside the confines of law school and work.

I'm just thinking that I could be a little more productive. Of course, I may end up just needing to use the time in the car as my escape from work/school.

While all of those would be interesting uses of my time, I don't think the other drivers would appreciate it

I am going borrow prep cds for the bar exam and listen to it on the my commute most likely.

Me too - that is whenever UH decides to make up thier mind and just admit me already.
I'm probably going to listen to anything and everything audio I can get.

It's your call, but you might get brain-fry from trying to be too productive. Long-time public radio listener myself, my favorite program is The World. After I crawl out of law school debt I hope to actually support one of these stations.

At the same time.

I plan to borrow (non-school) books on CD from the library. I think I will want my commute time to clear my head/relax.
