I have an interest in pursuing a career in alternative dispute resolution and I was just wondering if anyone had a sense of the employment opportunities, job market, etc. in this field. Also which courses, clinics, or internships should one seek out while in law school to pursue this career?
Edit: Posted this in another forum - was told to "bump" so I'm re-posting it here.

From the mouth of an attorney who I asked about this: This is the kind of thing that comes after gaining expertise in some other area of the law. Nobody can really go straight into ADR because you need to gain some credibility as an expert before anyone will hire you.

There are master's programs in conflict resolution. Not sure if this would work for this career but it would be cheaper than law school. You should look into that as well.
