outside classes to raise gpa

So, I've looked through many threads and have seen that many people take cc classes during summers or online in order to boost their lsdas gpa.
My question is if I did the same thing but at a big 10 university, would it still be viewed as blatant gpa padding or does it depend upon what
courses you take? Right now, I am planning to take Social Psychology and E-Commerce over the summer at Purdue University. In the past, I have
taken Intro to Sociology, Microecon, Macroecon, Gen Chem, and Physics E&M. Would law schools view this negatively and downgrade me or ignore
my Purdue courses. I currently attend a prestigious university in the Midwest so would Purdue courses be considered too different to count? All of the courses
that I have already taken satisfied various distribution and science requirements for my major. Only the classes I take this summer would not fulfill any requirements.
Thanks for all the help!
