Laptop recommendations for law school?

I already have a MacBook, but will be getting another laptop so my wife and I can both have one. I'm guessing that I'll really just need a PC since it is cheaper and will only be doing internet/word processing on it.
Any recommendations? I ventured away from PC's years ago and have been a Mac man lately.

Any laptop sold new today will work. It's all about what you feel comfortable with. I wouldn't spend too much on it. Nothing you will do as a law student requires much performance.

Just get a netbook if you are just going to surf the interwebs and word process. If you're worried about screen size then I hear Acer is making some good machines at a reasonable cost.
From personal experience I would stay away from Dell. I have had awful experiences with them and I think they use substandard components.

I work IT for my school, who has a contract with Dell. They're refurbished parts are absolute garbage (what they replace bad parts that are under warranty with). I'll be staying away from them. They do have good costumer service though.
