This is pretty interesting. I work in IT for a booze company (one of the large, corporate ones). I was a finance major and had previous finance internships but couldn't find anything after school.

Worked as a community and labor organizer, volunteered for a few local political campaigns, ran a small national non-profit organization, and did a couple of small modeling stints.

I work for a financial company underwriting loans and doing basic bitch-work. Absolutely no upward mobility. A blind monkey could do my job.

I worked as a claim agent for a major railroad then sales manager at a car dealership. I my work experience gives me a bit of an edge when looking for employment.

Really? Why do you think that gives you an edge? Not to be an ass, but I don't think those positions are anything spectacular. Sorry.

Truly awesome experience (covered all sorts of fun stuff, important and otherwise). Lucky enough to be leaving on my own terms, though i miss it. .... Well, I miss the idealized version of it. (Past tense b/c I left 1.5 months ago for less stressful work to better agonize over end-of-cycle stuff).

Ha, while my official job title actually sounds sort of fancy, it could most accurately be described as being someone's bitch for two years. Coming into work each day is... soul crushing. I've already given notice, and cannot wait for July!!!
