Why don't potential students research career placement data before starting any academic program? At the very least, USNWR can provide some guidance. The hard truth is that a degree is just a piece of paper--the equation is: academic excellence + economic demand + intangibles (likability, charisma, etc.) = job.

HAHAHAHAHAHA...my favorite part is this:

“If these programs keep growing, you’re going to wind up with more and more students who are graduating and can’t find meaningful employment,” said Rafael I. Pardo, a professor at Seattle University School of Law and an expert on educational finance. “They can’t generate income needed to pay back their loans, and they’re going to end up in financial distress.”

I suppose I should be thankful for the Seattle U YP and that I never apply to such thankless jobs ala the person who quit selling ITTTTTTTT tech.
