If I decided to apply for next cycle if I don't get into my school of choice, can I keep my LOR's and PS the same? Thanks in advance.

I would say yes to LOR and no to PS. Schools ask you if you have applied before and may or may not pull up your prior year's application. To see the same PS would make you seem lazy. I know that most of our PS are written for one with the intentions of being used just once and that we put all we can into them, but dont reuse.

If you think you dont have anything new to write about talk about the year you took off of law school and how it strengthened your commitment to study law. Im sure you can find something new to talk about.

As for the LOR I would keep them, but try and find new sources if possible.

This is just my opinion. Feel free to correct me.

I waited a year and reapplied. Used the same LORs but didn't use the exact same PS. Used a new PS for a couple schools and used an updated version of the old one for a couple others. Either way, I would advise against using the exact same PS but I think LORs are fine. I've had a fairly successful cycle, at least. Good luck!

I re-applied using same LORs, mostly same PS except I updated/revised parts of it. I got in to every school that rejected me the cycle before (and same schools, but more $$), but I think adding 7 points to my LSAT score accounts for that...

Do your LORs stay on the LSAC site, allowing you to simply select them for the following year?

Yes they do. You can use them for up to 5 years ( i think).

You can re use your personal statement- but i would think re vamping it would be a wise option

Thanks. Also, is it detrimental to keep the same LORs? Does anybody have any experience with this?

I used the same LORs and PS because I felt that my statement was pretty strong. Got into the schools I reapplied to. But I also added a diversity statement this application cycle.
