The "L" designation in 1L/2L/3L

Post by boss » Wed Feb 17, 2010 11:04 pm

Does anyone know what the L stands for in 1L/2L/3L? Law? Legal? Lulz?

It seems like a stupid question, but it has been bothering me all night. :oops:

1L = first-year law student
