LSAT in June....Starting school in August?

I just wanted to know has anyone ever taking the LSAT in June and started school in the Fall semester.
Or have taken the LSAT in December and started school in the spring or summer program?
I'm taking the LSAT in June and looking at scholarships. I'm trying to see if I should apply for scholarships now; or wait until later on this year/next year.
