So I'm pretty sure I've read many times on this board and other sites that current law students can apply for clerkships for the 1L and 2L summers. But I've been to a few school websites that only talk about clerkships after a student graduates, and give no info about it for current students.

Am I going crazy?? Why don't they put this information up there??

A clerkship is a one-year position you get after you graduate. You can still work for a judge during your 1L or 2L summer, however this is usually referred to as an internship, not a clerkship.

The earliest you can apply for a clerkship is the summer after your 2L. However, some judges prefer students who have already graduated. Additionally, graduates are allowed to apply earlier in the application cycle than students. If you throw me a link, hopefully I can see where the confusion is coming from.
