Hey, where can I find some law cases that I may read during 1L? I would like to read a few before I start.

It'll be useless. You won't get anything out of reading the case because you'll be doing it wrong. You won't be able to learn how to do it right because you won't have the live feedback you get from being cold-called and listening to people get cold called.

Once when I was wiki-ing Posner, I ended up reading this case:

Not sure if you'll be assigned it as a 1L, but it should give you an idea what a case looks like.

TITCR. The point of reading cases in law school, and what the Socratic method is designed to teach you, is to learn how to read cases like a lawyer instead of a layman. You reading at home minus that training will not further that goal. You will pick out all the wrong things, nor wrestle in your mind how to reconcile seemingly inconsistent holdings. Just wait for law school. Get a girlfriend or something.

Haha, I understand what you are saying but I still would like to read them. So if there is anywhere to get them online could you let me know?

Girlfriend is always over, is annoying, and has put on weight. Reading cases all day may help me get rid of her

read Cardozo's opinions, he's a baller. And Learned Hand, he's useless. That's really all you need to know to get all As and be at the top of your class!!
