Teaching abroad vs working at home

Is teaching abroad a good soft factor? I mean I understand it's probably not as good as the military or starting a successful company, but when juxtaposed with working your run of the mill entry level clerical assistant position at a law office for a year, which would likely look better?

Note: I think I might want to go with a public interest angle in law school, I already have decent volunteer experiences, and it would be teaching English abroad.

Thanks.

Neither teaching abroad, nor working in a law office are anything more than an OK soft. Teach abroad if you want.
