Is this considered a demanding major?

I am a journalism major. I'm wondering if law school admissions will consider this demanding/difficult. I guess I'd like to know whether this major will strengthen my 3.08 GPA, weaken it, or have no affect. (I know... LSAT prep has made me insufferable) I can tell you that Journalism was tough for me.

Edit: bad typo in subject

People feel free to post the major you'd like to know
Hmmm I think they mean biochemistry and physics when they talk about demanding majors...just my opinion though

Demanding is majors like nuclear engineering and pure mathematics. I've never heard of journalism being described as demanding.

yeah, that's what I suspected. I came to realize some time ago that I wasn't really cut out to be a journalist. Didn't come easy to me

A lot of majors are demanding. The concern is over ones that are more demanding than the typical major. So, you needn't feel bad because it was demanding for you but not demanding relative to the range of possible majors. Also, some majors at some schools are more demanding than others.

I don't think it would hurt or help. I'm sure it was demanding, but I think that's what law schools expect.

On a separate note, I've read that journalism majors perform the best in law school.

as an English major, I think both of our majors are the softest, easiest, semi-legitimate majors ever.

in fact, I am in media law (a journalism course) and paying no attention at all at this moment, and I will still get an A.

A blog, which is why journalism is dead.

A blog written by a journalism student encouraging other journalism students to attend law school so he would have a better shot at a job, which is why journalism is dead.

What does someone study in recreation? What type of coursework?

Not snark, I've never heard of that major before.

I don't even know. It was when I wanted to be a park ranger. I only took three classes. One of them was called "The Challenges of Leisure". It was awesome.

Sounds like a class someone would take at Hahhhhvaaaaad shortly before their annual summer vacation to Martha's Vineyard, followed by a European wine tour.

It's good you changed. Journalism might not help you, but Rec could hurt you...
