Welcome Penn Law Class of 2020!

P.S. I don't know if there are rules about making these threads, but I was tired of one not existing. I even talked with a few anonymous TLSers at Penn ASW about the lack of a thread. Shame on us for not getting to it sooner but better late than never! Hindsight is 2020!

Is anyone considering the on campus grad housing? The housing search seems overwhelming!

I've been on Craigslist every day. Not sure how else to go about it.

I'm looking mostly at the Center City high rises. I'm on the west coast so checking apartments out over the internet is basically my only option at the moment.

So quiet in here!
How is everyone's apartment hunt going? Ill be moving to center City early next month, living a block from City Hall.

I'm a rising 2L, so just finished year 1. This site was really helpful to me during law school admissions and adjustment to law school and here to pay it forward. Happy to answer any questions!

Re: Penn Law 2020
I was recently accepted to Penn Law and am very strongly considering. I am looking at the "commitment to matriculate form." Is this completely binding? I am still on a few other waitlists I could be interested in and I do not want to bind myself to anything.

Is anyone else worried that they'd end up with Amy Wax for Civ Pro?

I genuinely have avoided as much as possible any discussion re. professor difficulty thus far. Arguably though, there has not been much activity here or on the fb group.goatsandhoej wrote:Is anyone else worried that they'd end up with Amy Wax for Civ Pro?
Starting to get nervous about the informal orientation events this weekend, I have yet to hear about locations, times, etc. beyond the registration confirmation.

It's been weirdly quiet here all year compared to the other school forums, wondering why.
