Anyone planning to go to the Law Alumni of Color Association dinner? I received an invite but don't know if this is actually something admits go to or if they are just blanket offering it and it will be kinda weird to be the only one...

I'm going because there's free food. If I'm the only admit there then it's more food for me

Anyone here ready to start negotiating $$$ with NYU? I've gotten my scholarship offers from Mich, UVA, Penn, Duke, and Chicago so I feel like now is the time to start. Or should I continue waiting?

I only have a Michigan offer right now to negotiate with, but it's really good. I emailed their admitted students email address for reconsideration. No response yet, it's been only a few days though. NYU is my top choice, but it'll be hard to justify going without a bit of a bump. I hope they help me out, I want to go so bad!

Hey guys, I called the admissions team and they shot me an email saying the scholarship appeal process instructions will be sent out late March, and that all appeals will be considered starting early April.

For you guys looking to negotiate.

In case it's relevant for anyone, I got my scholarship info via snail mail. Didn't hear anything until it showed up in my mailbox.

Has anyone else who was dinged from RTK late still not received financial aid info? I was accepted 1/16 and received the RTK ding on 3/10, emailed last week Friday to ask about financial aid info timeline and still haven't heard a peep.

I'm sure they're incredibly busy so I really don't want to let my anxiety get the best of me and call their office before I should, but I'm getting antsy....anyone in a similar situation?

Is this typical? Or is it normally sent via email?

Anyone else having issues accessing the financial aid app? I get an error message about "FlexSession" when I try to login.

Yeah the only place I've had success making it work is on Safari. Internet Explorer and Chrome both give me that message.

No idea! But just remember it's possible! It's a Vanderbilt.

What does "Application In Final Stage of Review" mean in terms of when I will hear back from NYU re: fin aid?
