I filled out FAFSA but chose the merit only option. My parents make too much for me to get aid, but not enough to actually contribute.

Pretty sure aid always starts coming out in Feb. It's just possible some people have yet to be accepted and for those people the money will probably come in April.

This is how I feel. I'm really hoping I can get a decent amount of money because I would love to go, of course. But it's hard to justify that much debt.

Was told by Financial Aid last week to expect decisions between late-Feb and early-March. The whole admissions process has made me err towards the right side of a given time range. I am expecting March 1st-4th, but I really hope you're right about tomorrow!

Does NYU offer financial assistance for attending ASW? Can't find it mentioned but perhaps I'm missing it.

Checking in. ED applicant, already put in deposit, definitely hoping for a little money from those mythical non-named scholarships.

Somebody addressed this in the applicants thread. Pretty sure they use FAFSA/Need Access to decide whether to give money to attend ASW. If I recall correctly, they reimburse you later, rather than paying you in advance, but I could be wrong about that.
