I've only ever had one good roommate, and so I kind of just want to live alone for 1L with my dog. But then I look at how much that is going to cost, and it scares me back into looking at having roommates.

I think a roommate will be good for me 1L at least bc Im the kinda person who likes to be social a lot and I loved coming home and ranting to my roommate at any hour of the night. When its good, its good.

currently torn between roommates for $$ saving or living alone. the thing is a lot of the places that people who are looking for roommates want to live are kind of expensive so rent ends up being not that much cheaper. idk what to do, craigslist roomies have a lot of psycho potential but might be willing to live in an older building and be cheapskates with me

yeah I was torn between options cuz theres a ton of all conditions lol was really tempted to go with one of the nice furnished/stainless steel appliance places but figured go with on-campus housing 1L, save a little $ and if I dont end up doing the AR thing (like an RA position) I might move to a nicer place/may go 1 br place. We'll see how 1L goes

I'm ashamed that I only got 2/11 considering many of these are products I personally rang up at a hipster grocery in hipster San Francisco. Maybe these are the New York prices?
