Every school I'm waitlisted at (or applied to at all) is in the same geographic direction from me. Skipping two, I'm looking at over 40 hours of driving over six or seven days. Not sure how this is going to work...

This is unconscionable.

Remember, it's not arson if the building is structurally unsound, it's architectural Darwinism.

I just had to ask my boss for more days off for ASW/interview stuff. I'm pretty sure she's going to start chaining me to my desk

My boss doesn't know I'm leaving so I'm wondering how he'll react to all my random time off requests next month...

The amount of work I have piled up from not doing my work the past two weeks has reached an all time high. Hopefully I'm not looking at overtime this week as a result...

They know I'm leaving, but a wedding in the middle of interviews/school visits is probably what's got her most irritated.

When the professor rolls their eyes, and your classmates groan, wherever I am I will know you've made this joke, and I will be proud.

I'm so jealous of all you guys and your ASWs. Crossing all digits I get at least one decision this week. Even if it's a rejection. I JUST WANT TO KNOW

aww in due time! I submitted back in November and am still waiting on four schools (3/4 I expected auto rejections from). Not sure if that comforts you or not, but decisions will come!

I imagine you'll start to hear within the next few weeks. Plus, it looks like you applied mostly in state, so hopefully you'll still be able to make some ASWs!

I was tempted to visit more schools for that exact reason...except I'd probably lose my job ahead of schedule if I did so.

Yes true, although SoCal and NorCal are really two different states, technically speaking

The damn second weekend in March is the only one for the foreseeable future when I don't have an ASW of some sort. I don't know what to do with myself that weekend. Stay in Houston? Ugh.

Come out to the Bay Area and egg Boalt Hall with me? I'm just assuming I'll have been rejected by then.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
