Can you go a month without anyone noticing? That seems to be the standard set by thelostweasley and caprica.Muiraquita wrote:Muiraquita wrote:I'm going to go get coffee... I may never walk back to my office. It's too nice out.
Update. Just sitting at the river. I dont think anyone at work has noticed.

Ugh I need to be frugal and bring lunch but I'm already so sad about being at the office that leaving it to go buy lunch is all I have to look forward to. I'm going to the place around the corner that makes spring rolls to order.barley wrote:Leftover pad thai!SlithyTove wrote:Getting up for food related reasons is at least 80% of how I pass the time.barley wrote:I'm too lazy to get up and microwave my lunch so I might eat it cold

Honestly? Probably.
I was gone for 3 weeks over Christmas and no one realized, and two weeks last June and only one realized, and that was because I told them I was deucing out after my LSAT...
It doesn't help that I haven't had pretty much any work since last June, with the exception of some really small projects.

Sometimes I take lunch breaks and go for runs, that gets rid of an hour to 2 hours. A lot of netflix. Some reading. GChatting and Group Chats with friends. Civilization and Europa Universalis on my laptop. It's mind numbing.

Ooh, I love Civ V. My brother's been pressuring me to get EU IV but I don't think I'm ready to take the plunge.Muiraquita wrote: Sometimes I take lunch breaks and go for runs, that gets rid of an hour to 2 hours. DO IT. I've spent an embarrassing amount of time on that game. I hate (and love) that Steam tells me how many hours.

EU IV is the goat, but it could very well be the undoing of my legal career before it even starts.Muiraquita wrote:schocolate wrote:

Who needs grades when you rule a consolidated Holy Roman Empire stretching from Paris to Berlin.Muiraquita wrote:Generally wrote:EU IV is the goat, but it could very well be the undoing of my legal career before it even starts.Muiraquita wrote:schocolate wrote:

My friend and I were chatting about Michigan this morning and when we tried to look something up on the map, we realized that it's listed in Russian on Google Maps. We decided it's a sign. Or Sergey overthrew Larry.

Fuck this day. I have 3 days left at this job, and there is absolutely nothing to do. I have been sitting at my desk and posting on TLS/staring at the clock all morning. The worst part is that I do not have an office or cubicle of my own, and my boss is constantly walking by making sure that we are working because she has nothing to do, and I have to surreptitiously shitpost very quickly. This must be hell.
