It was 85 degrees in the Bay Area this weekend. I almost died. On the bright side, my jasmine is flowering like crazy.
That is seriously one of the things I miss most about CA. Dat jasmine smell is everything

ASWs the past two weekends so I was super dreading coming back to work this morning but the cat v. dog debate/pictures made it a million times better. Ya'll are the best.

Dogs, obviously. One cat out of every hundred is okay. One dog out of every thousand sucks and the rest are better than most people. No contest.

I would argue the side of cats again but I'm feeling bitter after one of the shelter kitties did a runner on me during my volunteer shift yesterday and I had to chase her around for several minutes then lay on the disgusting floor and coax her out from under a shelf with treats.

A dog would never do that.

Also clearly false. Are these the tactics that dog-lovers use to deceive the world?

Sold my house yesterday, the first day it was on the market, for right around asking price. Put in my two-and-a-half-months' notice at work today, and my boss was much cooler about it than expected. Shit is getting real.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
