Actually, not for me! I have crim law instead of Torts this semester. (I also have legal practice skills & legal writing, but I'm assuming Li'l Sebastian has those too.)basedvulpes wrote:Uhhhh isn't that what everyone has?Li'l Sebastian wrote:Contracts, Torts, and Civil Procedure this semester!

In section M, seems like a solid schedule. Can live with 3 days of 9am.. especially living within 30 seconds of walking distance

While I have a personal affinity for Gryffindor, I'm hoping my GPA is more in line with Ravenclaw.

Is anybody having difficulty connecting their @umich.edu to Outlook?
(I'm using Outlook 2016 on a Mac)
I can't figure out the right settings.

Very well done. I'll happily be in the Gryffindor house as a section N'er.CTT wrote:ABCD (Any Bitch Can Do) - Slytherin

This will be the third time I have completed the Haven sexual assault training...There should really be a way to not do it if you've done it recently

Re: Michigan Law School C/O 2019
Does anyone know if having the most up-to-date textbooks actually matters?
For Civ Pro, Pritchard says to get the 9th edition of Rules and the 2016 edition of Selected Statutes, but if I get the 2014 versions or something, is that gonna mess me up?
(Also, is this ... http://www.cali.org/sites/default/files/FRCP_LII_0.pdf ... the same thing as the "Rules of Civil Procedure" book that we're supposed to get?)

To my understanding it does matter.
From what I've read, they make slight edits between editions which affect the page numbers. So when the professor says "please open your casebook to page 437," you don't want to be like "but wait . . . to what page does that correspond to for the 2014 edition?"
Like you'd probably survive, but it would likely be annoying and the professor might put you on blast.

Thank you!basedvulpes wrote: Go to "Student Business" and find the "Enrollment" box in the left column. Then click on "My Class Schedule" or "My Weekly Schedule, and you'll find your classes. Also, it looks like you can figure out your super section/section by going to "My Class Schedule" and clicking the "Section" hyperlink. There is a sub-heading of "Class Notes." Most will give you your super section (mine is IJKL), but if you click on it for your Legal Practice courses, it will give you your section.

Have those participating in MAP received any further materials/info? First e-mail said we would get something by August 5...haven't heard anything though.

Safe to assume we can purchase the textbooks for the classes we're in at this point? I know they don't technically lock til orientation but...

Buy your books off of the rising 2L's and 3L's. It'll be the same book, it helps us get rid of them, and youll be surprised how much having a few notes helps you out. Especially at first when you aren't sure what's important or not.16to19 wrote:Safe to assume we can purchase the textbooks for the classes we're in at this point?
