I'm moving to a low COL city, so looking at apartments is actually pretty soothing. I could get a fancy 1 bedroom in the cool part of town with an in-unit washer/dryer, fireplace, AC, and hardwood floors for 2/3 of what i'm paying for my tiny room in a 5th-floor walkup with two roommates and none of those things, you guys.

Yes, but they have some control over the bureau of printing and engraving.

Yeah I do this all the time to procrastinate. I'm moving like 30 minutes away from where I am now so it will be better to just go physically look but sometimes a girl just wants to waste time on the internet comparing amenities and floorplans
I saw a floor plan for my dream apartment (island kitchen with the sink and dishwasher on the island and a living room door out to a roof deck) that was in my price range, but, alas, it is available now, not in several months.

The mortgage on our 3/2 house in my "practice city" is less than my rent for a D.C. studio. Gonna love throwing that extra loot around--i.e., paying off debt and investing...

Found the solution, I just need to move back south.

Moving to NYC, SO and my rent budget is more than our combined monthly expenditure here in STL, and I know I'm moving into a worse apartment than I'm in now, probably. Certainly smaller, but I may be able to get an in-unit w/d.

Staying put in this overpriced swamp, and not planning to move right away when I start work. Looking for place to live in DC is not that exciting anyway, but hey at least I’m not moving to NYC.

Cheers to that
Yes but we have all these Michelin star restaurants I won't have the time to go to, as well as countless exciting Broadway musicals I don't have time to go to/can't afford.

except for maybe summers if I can get on them juicy summer lunches

This may be the largest change in political and social climate of all time.

Yeah, I've taken 3 of 4 and I'm fairly certain I forgot how to exam. And now that I'm warmed up, the last one is MC & SA. Saving grace: C's get degrees!
