I was recently taken off the waitlist at UCLA Law and therefore missed "Admitted Students Day." Is there anything that you miss from this event besides taking a tour of the campus and meeting administrators and potential fellow law school students?

free alcohol/food and meeting students
The things that should guide your decision can all be found online and ASD's are just a sales pitch (a fun one though).

A chance to see the city. I went to an ASW in a city I'd only visited once and I think the city did more to change my mind than the school. The programs, faculty, and academic/professional stuff you can find online. Getting an idea of what living in a new place for three years will be like is more difficult.

a good opportunity to meet some of your future classmates and current students. While it is a sales pitch, it is useful for gauging the culture of the school.
