Hello,
Does anyone have advice on how much time to spend on MBE materials when taking only the state-specific portion of an exam (in this case, Georgia Attorney's Exam)? Thank you.

Passed the GA bar this July. You should study the MBE materials like you normally would. Here's why:
1. The GA-specific outlines don't cover con law and fed civ pro, which sometimes appear on the bar.
2. The GA materials will give you Georgia's rules with respect to the MBE subjects (e.g. whether GA is a contributory or comparative fault Jx; unilateral or bilateral conspiracy Jx; # of years till adverse possession, etc), but they don't cover the fundamentals. So if you only studied the Georgia lectures, you will not do well on essay questions dealing with MBE subjects.
Chances are that an MBE subject will appear, where you'll be asked to state the GA variants to the MBE rules. Good luck!
