I am a 3L that did not take criminal procedure nor secured transactions. Should I start studying these topics before bar prep begins? Or can these topics be learned fairly easy? I am taking a UBE bar and have taken all other bar topics. Really regretting not taking criminal procedure at this point. Any advice would be appreciated.

Not on the other side of the bar yet, so I can't comment from personal experience. Others I know who didn't take either and passed a UBE bar first try were fine waiting to study until after finals. I've heard that secured transactions is pretty easy to pick up for bar purposes.

You'll be fine. Crim pro is easy, and secured transactions only covers a really limited range of stuff.
There is no need to start bar prep early.

I didn’t take either of those in law school. Both were on my exam. It was fine. You’ll learn what you need to during prep.
