I think it depends on how serious the lie was. Are we talking about lying about having a certain degree? Lying about law school GPA? Lying about language fluency?

And I think the most important thing might be whether the lie touched on practicing law at all (e.g. holding yourself out as being certified to practice in a jurisdiction where you weren't). But I'm not a C&F attorney, so I may also not know which questions are the most important ones to ask, which is why hiring an attorney might be the right course no matter what.

OP - did the c&f application specifically ask if you held the job part time or full time or was it on your resume as a full time job?

Is there some sort of wiggle room to claim your interpretation of full time was different? Like did you ever work a forty hour week? Were you working less than forty but more than thirty hours a week?.

I'm confused about why you'd lie about this on the c&f. Wait, did you even lie on the original c&f?

in re-reading it sounds like you may have told your current and former employer that you worked full time and it was really part time. Is that accurate? Or did you also lie about it on the c&f?

I'd tell anyone to consult a c&f attorney if they are worried about a potential c&f issue.
