Which department in ny is the fastest for bar admission? How long does the 2nd dept take?

Thing is, you don't really get to pick which department to apply to. It's based on where you live, if you live in NYS. If you don't live in NYS but work in NYS, it's based on where you work. If you don't live in NYS and don't work in NYS, then you get allocated to the 3rd Department (IIRC - double check this).
