Couldn't find any other posts about this - but would appreciate any advice anyone has.
Trying to spend as little time on the P&E as possible to focus on MBE/Essays - anyone have any solid study tips/strategies they've used to quickly get a hold on this section so you can move on?

The strategy that worked for me during my prep cycle for the February 2019 TX bar exam was actually doing a few old P&E exams under time constraints and then spending some time reviewing the model answers/TX outline (I used BARBRI materials). I alternated between doing a Civ Pro exam (20 questions) during one study session and then a doing a Crim Pro exam (20 questions) during a different study session, usually on different days. Reviewing the succinct P&E lecture handout from the BARBRI P&E review course was also helpful for me.

Just a heads up - the Civil P&E questions repeat themselves almost verbatim. The February 2019 test was a copy of July 2017. Following this same pattern (and it has been this way for a couple of exams), this July test should mirror the February 2018 exam. If you study those questions and answers, you should have a solid grasp the material presented. Unfortunately, the criminal P&E is kind of a crapshoot.
