Barbri MBE Simulated - How well did yall do?
There's only the raw score available at this point but I got 136. Feeling very defeated. How good of an indicator is the Simulated and how did everyone else do?

I got a 126. Isn’t passing around 60%?

I forgot to mention how I suck at essays and how I need at least 75% in the MBE section. Pretty stressed rnyyyuppp wrote:I got a 126. Isn’t passing around 60%?

You don't need a 75% in the MBE as long as you don't literally get 1's & 2's on the essays. I'm doing Themis but I know from other people in my class that both of those scores are fine. You still have over 3 weeks. No reason to stress. here are people's scores and how they actually did on the real thing. The Barbri exam is not scaled from what I remember so add another 10-15 points plus you still have weeks left to improve. Good luck!

Re: Barbri MBE Simulated - How well did yall do?
A thread on here 4 years ago resulted in a spreadsheet that compared J15 practice scores to final MBE scores (and final outcomes). The spreadsheet is here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... li=1#gid=0
I took the data from the spreadsheet and sorted it by BARBRI PT raw score:
http://seperac.com/pdf/BARBRI%20PT%20Sc ... %20TLS.pdf
Of the 77 examinees who took BARBRI in July 2015 and reported their exact PT scores, 75 passed the exam, including all those with a 113 raw or higher. No one did worse on the actual MBE than their BARBRI score. One person got the same exact score, the second “worst performer” only saw a 5+ point increase and the remaining 75 saw an average of 18-20 point bump.
