So I am taking Barbri right now for the July 2019 exam. I am taking notes while listening to the lectures, but I see that the full outline that Barbri gives you is much more detailed. What am I actually responsible for? Should I know everything in the big outline, or is it sufficient to just have a good grasp of what is discussed in the lectures?

Having tutored for Barbri several years ago, I can say the outline or more specifically the conviser book or whatever (the shorter outline) is what you're responsible for. I'd recommend studying the conviser and using the bigger outline for topics you struggle with.

The lecture notes are designed to make the course engaging and based on predictions of what may be tested, but it's a minority. Honestly, that conviser book is itself enough to pass the bar for most people who went a top law school. However, the lecturers themselves are not. It's just impossible to cover enough material in 6-8 hours as the bar exam covers more topics than a typical law school class (albeit in less detail), and the professors try to throw in some humor, which is necessary because it's dry stuff but it cuts into the time.
