I am taking the 2019 July UBE bar exam. I have Barbri books from 2018 (blue cover) from last year.

Did anyone received the 2019 books and is there a difference in the material? I noticed that the 2018 MBE practice questions is quite slim. Do I need newer books? I think Barbri will give me a discount as a returning student.

I imagine it would be the same, but let me know if you find a definitive answer. I'm also taking July '19 UBE, and I'm planning on just buying a 2018 CMR.

I don't know of any differences at all. Every once in a while the NCBE will announce changes to the subject matter of the MBE or the MEE and with those chances comes a need to update any earlier books, but there haven't been such changes for a few years now.
