NYBX FEB Exam Laptop Program

Hi guys
Hope the studying is going well. I am registered for the NYBX (Feb 2019), 1st timer. I am registered for the laptop program, but I have just seen on the NYBX website that your laptop can't be taken with you during the lunch break and that you have to leave the laptop in the testing venue. To be honest, I am a little worried about theft and the safety of my laptop. I have the 2018 Mac book pro and I am just being honest, it is shiny and draws attention. It's also easy to steal. I am a foreign candidate and will probably be writing in Albany or Buffalo. How safe are the testing venues, frankly speaking? Should I be worried, cause I am and its not helping my bar prep.
Any advice from previous examinees on this issue. Your assistance is greatly appreciated?
